Project on American Justice

I am proud and honored to have been asked to participate in CNA's Project on American Justice (PAJ) over the past two years. The goal of the project is to produce new research ideas and innovative strategies to help resolve some of the most pressing issues facing the justice system. CNA has assembled "thought leaders" in the criminal justice field that represent a balanced mix of expertise, experiences, and backgrounds. PAJ's first major report, "Recruitment and Retention in US Policing: Rethinking 'Business and Usual'" by Dr. Joseph Schafer and Captain Cory Nelson (ret.) was recently released concurrently with our last meeting in September. I urge all police leaders to read this timely and in-depth report. #CNAPAJ
