Updated: Mar 21

November 29, 2018

The Fairfield CA Police Department is hosting a day-long body-worn camera meeting on December 14th, 2018 at the Art Koch Range and Training Regional Facility in Fairfield. The hours are 8am to 5pm. Myself, a team of Body-Worn Camera Subject Matter Experts, and staff from CNA will be in attendance. This is an excellent opportunity for California police departments to participate in facilitated discussions about current and emerging issues surrounding body-worn cameras in California. Topics include:

  • Key BWC Policy Areas

  • Effective BWC Training Strategies

  • BWCs and Critical Incidents

  • Maximizing BWC Video for Evidentiary/Prosecution Value

  • Managing Community Relations with BWCs

  • Impact of changes to the California Public Records Act

  • Costs of a Department BWC Program

There is no cost to attend this meeting. However, space is limited.

You must register if you are interested in attending. Please email Capt. Stephen Crane, scrane@fairfield.ca.gov to register.
